It was a beautiful day out in Hilo town, so I thought it might be a great opportunity to check out my old stomping ground where I ended up getting my college education and also where I first met my fellow techy3 parthers! Here’s a quick recap of where I spent some of my most exciting and memorable years…

As you might already know, I attended the University of Hawaii at Hilo where I ended up earning my degree…I really believe that they stand by their mission: To offer excellent undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in an extraordinary natural and cultural environment.

UH Hilo is constantly growing and have invested a lot to continuously improve the quality of life and education on-campus. Here’s a look at one of their newest classroom building which they completed during my final semester there… I only had one of my classes in there. Though it was short, it was very memorable. It was very nicely designed and utilized the newest of techonology.

For some odd reason, I clearly remember the day I met James. It was the first day of my college career, the first class at 8 in the morning at the Computer Science Department.

Ahh yes…This is where it all started…in College Hall 7…CS 100 - Principles of Computer Science.

…techy3 was nothing more than just a mere dream during the lecture in one of our classes. As time went on, James naturally gravitated towards his interest in web development as I found a new interest in Business where I later ended in my college career. During this time, I found myself in a new venue where most of my classes were held.

This is where I met Patrick…In EKH (Edith Kanaka’ole Hall), Room 127. I believe the course we were taking was Accounting 250 - Financial Accounting. As I started taking more classes with Pat, I could see that we shared a common interest of one day starting a business where we would be able to provide some kind of excellent service to the public…A year and a half later, with the collaboration of Pat, James and I, we have finally assembled a powerful team we now proudly call techy3!
